    Role Description:

    The Data Courier Administrator/Environment and Release Manager is primarily responsible for configuring and supporting the interfaces used to migrate application build between environments using the Data Courier application. The Data Courier Administrator is responsible for creating and maintaining documentation for use in infrastructure configuration, maintenance and upgrade planning. The Data Courier Administrator is responsible for evaluating the impact of upgrades and patches on current use of Data Courier.

    Essential Functions:

    The Data Courier Administrator is primarily responsible for configuring the Data Courier interfaces and managing the migration and across Epic environments. In addition to the duties discussed in the Role Description, the Data Courier Administrator is responsible for the following:

    1) Technical Expertise:

    Configure and maintain Data Courier interfaces and protection settings in Epic environments in accordance with established policies and procedures

    Responsible for moving application build across environments via Data Courier, ensuring issues related to CID/UCI synchronization and dependencies are identified and resolved

    Evaluate impact of upgrades and patches on current use of Data Courier

    Maintain current knowledge of technology trends including, Cache, Epic software, and participate in system upgrades and testing.

    2) Overall Project Support:

    Participate in training activities to maintain technical currency/certification and to broaden product knowledge. Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of assigned applications and duties.

    Participate in department quality and process improvement

    Participate in Change Control, Upgrade Planning, Downtime Planning, and Go-Live Planning committees

    Respond to assigned helpdesk tickets. Gather and summarize customer feedback to management. Prepare reports regarding task and project assignment in assigned functional. Monitor task status through completion and provide status updates.

    Participate in rotating on-call schedule with other members within the Information Technology department and carry a cell phone and/or pager

    3) Documentation Support:

    Create and maintain documentation for use in infrastructure configuration, maintenance, and upgrade planning

    Qualifications

    Education

    Preferred: Bachelor s degree

    Minimum: Associates degree with three (3) of relevant experience providing advance applications support

    Work Experience:

    Preferred: Five-Seven (5-7) years relevant experience in a Health care information technology setting, familiar with application of complex changes that must be coordinated across multiple applications and technologies such as an enterprise EHR.

    Minimum: Three (3) years relevant experience in a Health care information technology setting, familiar with application of complex changes that must be coordinated across multiple applications and technologies such as an enterprise EHR.

    Licenses and Certifications:

    Preferred: Data Courier and Chronicles certifications or equivalent

    Minimum: Obtaining applicable certification will be an expectation of the role
