Join MUFG and be empowered to make your voice heard and your actions count.Job Summary:Reporting to the HR Business Manager, this role is responsible for partnering with HR Leadership to consult and align initiatives with overall HR strategic direction. This leader will advise, consult, and manage alignment of the most complex projects or initiatives within Human Resources. Additionally, the role will partner with the HR Business Manager to develop and drive HR strategy across the function, both regionally and globally. To effectively develop and execute on the strategy, the individual will need to understand the interconnectivity of Human Resource functions and the potential impact of initiatives. The understanding of the interconnectivity will allow for leadership in designing the strategy and direction across the critical projects/initiatives and functions. The individual will focus on key enterprise-wide projects and activities spanning across HR Departments and, at times, global initiatives seeking to develop a OneMUFG platform for the function. As the liaison across the HR Business Management function, ensuring all activities are properly leveled against the overall HR strategy while maximizing time and value._Management or Supervision: YesMajor Responsibilities:HR Strategy+ Responsible for being a recognized as a strategic partner and often provides strategic direction, guidance and integration of products and services to senior management that align to overall HR Strategy.+ Ability to react against unforeseen activities and rebalance priorities as needed based on HR Business Management and overall HR needs.+ May investigate and develop resolution of complex business or project issues, including analysis, solution facilitation and development, approval, management communication, and execution.+ Responsible for being a recognized as a strategic partner and often provides strategic direction, guidance and integration of products and services to senior management.+ Identifies opportunities for process improvement, lessons learned, program enhancements, and strategic alignment within the different HR Functions.+ Recognizes competing priorities and counsels on resolutions to maximize HR functionality.+ Leads with innovative with nontraditional thinking and approaches to develop tailored solutions to new and ongoing challenges within the bank and HR.+ May assist in planning and execution of complex, cross-functional implementations or integrations (including Command Centers, issue management, escalation, management communications, KPI tracking and reporting).+ Responsible for taking action to resolve critical issues.+ May manage outside vendors.QualificationsAdditional Information :+ Requires a bachelor's degree, 10 years banking experience with strong strategic management and project expertise+ Solid understanding of how initiatives are interconnected through matrixed resources and operational outcomes+ Fully conversant on issues and current trends as they relate to the banking industry's products and services.+ Proven ability to reach an audience through effective and clear presentations, writing skills and excellent communication strategies.+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines_The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed.
