    About the job -

    The IT Service Owner for Core HR Operations is responsible for developing strong working relationships with business partners within the internal HR and Finance organizations, aligning on the use of SAP HR (short term) and Workday +ServiceNow (long term).

    You will drive critical programs/projects and directly contribute to the overall achievement of functional goals. You are accountable for daily operations of our IT services and solutions in this space, as well as estimating, planning, mobilization, execution and successful closure of projects. During the project life-cycle, you will communicate status with regular frequency, handle risks and issues. You will work with other shared service teams within the IT Services organization to deliver improvements to and new capabilities in support of business goals.

    Day to day, you'll:

    • Serve as the IT SAP HR and/or Workday + ServiceNow HR Scoped App Service Owner. Understand processes and how they affect HR and dependent data as well as downstream reporting/dashboards/insights working with the Intelligent Enterprise team.
    • Shape, mobilize and handle IT operations (working with Accenture) for the SAP HR/Workday + ServiceNow capability
    • Liaison with HR business to understand new HR programs/capabilities and their impact on SAP/Workday/ServiceNow
    • Attend weekly calls both internal at Avanade and with Accenture
    • Own compliance and audits coordinating with ITS, Security, Legal and the HR business.
    • Troubleshoot issues within the HR Operations solutions and collaborate with HR Shared Services and Accenture Support teams for corrective steps (e.g. an intern conversion was entered with wrong values. Inaccurate data flowing into Avanade MRDR and the entry needs to be corrected to rectify the issue).
    • Handle SAP, Workday and ServiceNow HR Scoped App configuration and governance - understanding what changes we (Avanade) can do and the governance process for submitting requests to Accenture and/or performing the changes Avanade can own.
    • Manage quarterly release assessment/testing. Communicate changes with partners

    We'd love it if your technical experience includes:

    • Around 8-10 years of IT solutioning, design, testing and overall implementation experience, as well as IT operations experience
    • Experience with HR solutions including Workday, ServiceNow Scoped HR App.
    • Working understanding of software development/delivery methodologies (Agile)
    • Some knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint and Social Collaboration tools
