This is a part time (30-35 hours/week) position operating a C-Arm during pain management surgical procedures. Tuesday through Friday, 8 hours/day, and eligible for the following benefits:

The Radiology Technologist is responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Actively participates in developing departmental patient care programs, policies and procedures that describe how patients' radiology care needs or patient populations receiving radiology care are assessed, evaluated and met.
Conduct all radiographic examinations using portable X-Ray equipment.
Position patients to obtain proper radiographic images.
Set controls on radiographic control panels according to prescribed specifications and techniques required for specific examinations.
Actively participates in implementing an effective ongoing program to measure and improve the quality of radiology care delivered to patients.
Actively participates on committees, meetings and other activities to assist in the development of staff, with the purpose of improved patient outcomes.
Measure patients to determine correct exposure.
Set up, calibrate, and monitor the operation of radiographic equipment.
Position patients for fluoroscopic procedures.
Participates in department CQI programs, collects CQI data as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Certificate from College or Technical School preferred.
ARRT (R) required.
CPR Certification required.
State License required, if applicable.
A minimum of six months related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ambulatory Surgical Center experience preferred.
Pain Management experience preferred.
Local travel is required.
The employee may be exposed to radioactive isotopes, ionizing radiation, and a strong magnetic field. May be exposed to radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
More than 50% of the time:
Sit, stand, walk.
Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs.
See, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients.
Less than 50% of the time:
Stoop, kneel or crawl.
Climb and balance.
Carry and lift (ability to move non-ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or to exam).
