The selected candidate will be part of an exclusive national security program and work on the design, development, deployment, and O&M for critical wireless, infrastructure and/or communication programs. Typical System Administrator responsibilities include the following: + Responsible for the internal or customer administration, maintenance and management of capacity resources for computers at the operating system and infrastructure level + Builds, configures, troubleshoots and integrates new and existing servers to provide service enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure upgrades + Sets up administrator and service accounts, maintains system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system-wide software, and allocates mass storage space + Recommends software and hardware enhancements, diagnoses and corrects issues, defines and implements new services with the goal of achieving maximum server uptime and availability for the customers + Responsible for monitoring performance, system usage + Contributes towards the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), backup systems and disk configurations + Conducts system analysis and development to keep systems current with changing technologies + Experience with Virtualization VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM Backup Technologies such as BackupExec, LTO tape libraries + Experience with mass storage types such as NAS, SAN, iSCSI, SAS + Experience in developing, deploying and maintaining Windows and Linux environments to specifications + Performing analysis to include administration, engineering, and integration of: + Windows 2019 Server + Windows /10 + SolarWinds Suite + Splunk + NESSUS + Experience integrating and managing network devices and appliances within a classified environment + Recommending and implementing engineering design changes required to adapt technical requirements + Performing daily review of audit, security, and application logs and identifies problem areas or trends and takes the proper action and generates required reports + Configuring and designing RAID configurations on systems to preserve critical information + Supporting management of VLANs, VRF, virtual switching, multi-layer switching, Multi-layer Firewalls, ACLs, secure configuration, bulk link encryption (KGs) + Supporting account management, PKI cert management, LDAP configuration/management + Establishing and maintaining up-to-date cybersecurity configurations based on DISA STIGs and IAVM Notices + Conducting weekly cybersecurity system audits to support ICD503 and INFOSEC requirements + Supporting critical operations during standard and non-standard working hours + Knowledge of scripting languages and implementation for system automation + Demonstrated experience in deploying virtualized environments and deploying ground-up builds (GUBs) + Candidate must have a demonstrated and intermediate-expert level of understanding of the Tenable/NESSUS security suite and be able to execute scanning on non-traditional devices such as network appliances + This position does not support remote work Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree or minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience + Graduate Degree and minimum of 4 years of prior related experience + DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification + Active Secret clearance with Background Investigation date within prior 6 years of starting with L3Harris Preferred Additional Skills: + DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 3 + Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance with background investigation date within prior 6 years of starting with L3Harris + Current Windows Certifications such as: + Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Server Infrastructure + Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2016 + Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: SQL Server 2016 + Microsoft Exchange Server: Designing and Deploying Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 + Security administration experience in support of RMF requirements + Hardware/software requirement verification/system validation experience + Demonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environment + Experience with Virtualization (KVM), Backup Technologies such as NAS, SAN, iSCSI, SAS + Experience with testing applications such as Jenkins, Jira, and Bitbucket + Ability to travel up to 10% domestically + Scripting experience (Bash/Shell, Python, Perl) in a Systems Administration environment + Experience in highly technical programs, both commercial and governmental Please be aware many of our positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
