As a member of the Operations Team you will perform general administrative tasks by running various reports, maintaining customer information, and assisting with tasks to ensure the branch is compliant. Here is what you can expect:
Oversees inventory control procedures including maintaining files, generating and updating reports, assisting in product cycle counts, checking shipped dates and locked orders.
Reviews return authorization and credit memo forms pending return of material; inspecting condition of return material through final disposition.
Research tax and freight claims and work with Financial Services to clear claims.
Basic accounting duties such as light accounts receivables and payables, invoice approval preparation, running credit memos.
Runs various reports such as tax, manual sales order, fleet, security.
Responsible for building maintenance and security, equipment maintenance, maintain supplies, compliance to health and safety program (HASP) and monthly OSHA Logs.
Travel 30-35%, mainly during the Strom Season (August - November)
To be successful, you must have:
High School degree or equivalent
1 year of operational or administrative experience preferred.
Knowledge of warehouse logistics preferred.
Customer service and inside sales experience preferred.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Ability to change priorities quickly, ability to multi-task
Demonstrated experience using MS Excel (proficiency with experience using vlookup and IF statement formulas), Word, and Outlook required.
Ability to work independently.
Willingness to obtain First Aid and Safety and OSHA10 certifications within 6 months of hire date.
Willingness to participate in Disaster Recovery Team fieldwork activities in an outdoor environment, inclement weather, in a construction type setting.
Willingness to accept the possibility of housing accommodations that may include an RV camp setting when deployed on Disaster Recovery projects.
Basic accounting and finance experience including fixed asset management and project cost-accounting utilizing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Data Entry including customer invoicing, coding expense invoices, entering new vendors and customer numbers, etc.
Position is based inside a warehouse.
Environment can be up to 100 degrees in the summer. Warehouse is climate controlled and comfortable in the winter.
This position will be seated for portions of the day, so the incumbent should be comfortable working at a desk.
Working in outdoor, yard environments across the country to include multiple inclement and extreme weather situations.
Picking, packing, labeling and shipping items less than 50lbs.
This position can be 100% remote, preferably in the eastern time zone. The branch office is located in Aurora, OH and employee may need to travel to the branch from time to time.
