    • Prepares financial forecasts, analyses, and reports for assigned business unit management team.

    • Supports development of unit's annual budget, tracks and analyzes variances throughout the year.

    • Monitors progress toward objectives.

    • Provides analyses and recommendations based on financial data and other pertinent information.

    • Works with business managers to prepare sales commission documents and track results

    • Identifies issues and suggests courses of action, makes recommendations for improving operations, and resource allocation.

    • Works closely with other corporate and business unit resources to improve standardization, and implements best practices.

    • Supports and directs implementation of operational improvements.

    • Serves as corporate finance's point of contact for assigned business unit(s).

    • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.


    • 3 years required, 5 years preferred of financial analysisexperience.

    • Responsible for financial ownership of key supplier rebate agreements including: Financial rebate contract review, identification of strategic opportunities, increasing company profitability and reviewing information with senior management.

    • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with 4+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience.

    • Possess strong analytical skills.

    • Required to possess decision making skills along with strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

    • Candidates are required to have a strong work ethic and a hands-on attitude.

    • Intermediate/expert knowledge of Access and Excel, which would allow the individual to create required ad hoc analysis and review financial information.

    • Experience with Power BI or aptitude to quickly learn is a plus

    • Financial experience with Anixter or WESCO and a solid understanding of the company's financial initiatives is also a plus.


    • Bachelors' Degree required.


    • GAAP, financial statements, internal controls, and SOX requirements.

    • Strong overall business skills and common sense approach to issues.

    • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to translate complex analytical data into easily understandable format.

    • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

    • Large information and accounting systems.

    • Report writingexperience is preferred.

    Working Environment:

    • General Office - Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time.

    Mental Requirements:

    • Employee required to analyze and interpret complex data.

    • Employee required to problem-solve.
