As a Diversity Equity & Inclusiveness (DEI) Supervising Associate, you'll have the opportunity to assess needs, develop and implement programs supporting the firm's DEI initiatives and strategy. You'll provide and implement concrete knowledge of diversity related theory and practice. In this highly visible role, our leaders will look to you to help identify trends and action plans that promote DEI and foster high performing teams. You'll be enabling the aspiration of the firm by placing DEI at the heart of how all people at EY behave, lead and team. Your key responsibilities
You'll be responsible for developing and implementing policies and programs to attract, retain and promote a diverse inclusive workforce. You'll represent EY's brand while actively participating at external diversity conferences and organizations. You'll manage moderate to complex projects and develop project plans including communications, project scope, cost, schedule and managing and assigning resources as needed. You'll analyze and report on project/program progress in terms of quality and performance metrics as appropriate. You'll successfully implement and facilitate innovative training programs and consult and educate our professionals to the importance of DEI.
Skills and attributes for success
Being a trusted resource, you'll need to be able to foster and maintain partnerships with key internal stakeholders. You'll need to have the confidence and ability to explain difficult concepts and issues to persuade others to adopt a point of view. Your strong project management and organizational skills will help drive programs and projects to completion. You'll need to be agile and innovative in developing creative concepts and programs around DEI. Utilizing your data analytical skills will be key in identifying trends and datapoints to present to leaders.
To qualify for this role, you must have
Strong data analytical and project management skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Proven ability to lead and motivate team members
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience
6 plus years of relevant experience
Ideally, you'll also have
Experience working within professional services
Knowledge around diversity and inclusiveness thought leadership and industry trends
