Job Title: Inside Sales Representative
Location: Remote, must work EST hours to support customers in Midwest and South East.
The Inside Sales Representative proactively promotes IDT products and solutions through various initiatives by phone and email.
Develops opportunities by researching and identifying potential and current accounts
Prospects new leads and prepares information for outgoing sales calls to secure new customers
Demonstrate effective selling skills and product understanding to uncover customer needs to position an appropriate solution
Accomplishes departmental and organizational goals by accepting ownership for new initiatives
Routes qualified opportunities to appropriate sales members for further development and closure
Contacts new customers to establish relationship, promote solutions and understand customer research needs
Maintains and expands CRM database of prospects with assigned territories
Participates in sales activities including tradeshows, customer field visits with field sales representatives, regional or global sales meeting
Develops technical knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
Maintains and improves quality results by following standard work
Participates in training and ongoing staff meetings
Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values
Performs other duties as assigned
Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required
Previous experience in the Life Science market, preferably in a customer-oriented and/or sales environment preferred.
Experience and Proficiency with popular CRM's (Salesforce) preferred.
