    Position Summary

    The Inside Sales Rep will be selling the company's products and/or services to our current customers! This role offers a competitive commission package based on a personal quota goal. In this role you will create quotations for Service Contracts for company products and coordinate sales process from identification of candidates for contracts through contract sale and support. Provides renewal information to existing customers and follows up on status. You will also establish and maintain relationships with channel partners. Provide up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company, and prepares activity and forecast reports as requested. Will conduct analysis of business to understand the market and better execute the sale of Service Contracts. Exercises judgment with defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Has detailed knowledge of company products/services.

    Major Responsibilities

    • Sell contracts via email and telephone by quotation to customers both proactively (i.e., cold calling) and by customer or sales representative requests or leads.

    • Generate contract quotes using SAP and deliver to the customer, negotiate either on the phone or an email to generate the purchase order

    • Achieve individual quotas for Orders and Sales.

    • Provide contract renewal information to existing customers. Foster and maintain customer relationships to facilitate growth with channel partners.

    • Create new opportunities and follow up on open opportunities, both internally and externally. Close the sale by collection of a purchase order.

    • Lead service agreements in SAP and SFDC. Ensure that all information is entered correctly and accurately in a timely manner.

    • Accurately enter billing and invoices.

    • Uphold accurate service agreement pricing to ensure that service contracts are profitable to Leica.

    • Work with Regional Field Service Managers and Account Managers to resolve service strategies and service eligibility for specific customers and execute those strategies.

    • Work with field service engineers and field sales by means of lead management in the sale of contracts; create quotations and close sales leads turned in by the field representatives. Track the leads submitted and provide correct incentive payouts.

    • Proactively call new customers to grow market share.

    Required Education, Experience, Skills

    Education: High School diploma or GED

    Experience/Skills:

    • Preferred Associate degree OR equivalent work experience
