    About the Program

    Lincoln Preparation Program (LPP) is a two-year development program designed to prepare high-performing, college graduates for strategic roles within our company. The goal is to accelerate the growth of associates within two years, providing them with the tools to take charge and further their career at Lincoln Financial Group. Program participants are placed within one business area for the entirety of the two-year program. At the end of the program, participants will have the option to stay on their current team or explore other open opportunities within the business.

    LPPs will have the opportunity to:

    • Add value to the organization through meaningful work

    • Participate in a variety of experiences to accelerate development

    • Gain exposure to senior executives and build a valuable network of peers, managers, and leaders across the company

    • Acquire knowledge of key businesses through enterprise-wide exposure

    • Receive ongoing coaching and mentoring

    Development

    • Mentorship and Coaching / Executive Speaker Series

    • Mastery Development Curriculum

    • Virtual learning designed to support Associate's development of strategic skills. Courses are from accredited schools such as the University of Virginia and Johns Hopkins University focusing on topics such as "Business & Growth Strategies", "Digital Transformation", "Design Thinking" and "Data Analysis"

    • Stretch Project

    • Strategic business assignments sponsored by a business leader that give Associates the opportunity to gain experience and develop skills outside their day to day routine. Stretch assignment allows Associate to take on new challenges and increase their enterprise knowledge while adding value to the business

    • Innovation Summit

    • Development summit featuring an academic partner (i.e. Cornell University) where Associate learn about emerging business trends, topics and processes. Associates are tasked with solving an enterprise challenge within a specified time frame (typically less than 24 hours) leveraging gained knowledge.

    Requirements

    What we look for in candidates:

    • College senior - degree completed prior to start date

    • A minimum GPA of 3.0

    • Demonstrated leadership skill

    • Self-motivated and results-oriented

    • Exceptional communication skills

    • Prior internship experience

    • Effective networking skills

    • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to deal with change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

    • Must be willing to relocate for both rotations

    • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
