GDIT has an opportunity for a dynamic and collaborative Senior Program Manager to join our team supporting a Federal customer. GDIT provides fully managed IT services to include telecommunications, service desk, cybersecurity, SOC, backup and recovery, network support, hardware and software asset management, voice and video, engineering and enterprise architecture, cloud integration and application development (future). The position is located in Alexandria, VA.
The successful candidate will have a track record of excellent service delivery. The position is responsible for supervising all personnel, managing senior-level customer relationships, recruiting and onboarding of new team members. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are absolutely essential in this role. The role requires the ability to successfully juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent work streams. The successful candidate will thrive on the challenge.
Achieving financial and growth targets
Developing lasting relationships with the customer and serving as a trusted advisor
Performs business development activities at all stages, including the preparation and review of technical and cost proposals.
Identifies and captures opportunities for organic growth within assigned areas and supports enterprise growth activities.
Organizing, directing, and managing multiple complex and inter- related project tasks
Building a culture throughout the team consistent with GDIT values around honesty, trust, transparency and alignment
Overseeing and continually improving delivery
Managing staff and subcontractors
Bachelors degree required;
Master's Degree and PMP Preferred (experience may be substituted for this requirement on a case-by-case basis)
10+ years progressive experience in managing/leading IT programs
Experience managing infrastructure projects
Experience managing software development projects (desired)
Leadership qualities that translate into business outcomes - specifically around team building and cohesion, client relationship development, and strategic thinking
Outstanding communication capabilities, both verbal and written. Must have the ability to present in front of audiences of any size
Prior work experience with USPTO is desired
