    As a Tax Analyst , you will join Gallagher's corporate tax team to lead a variety of federal tax streams while collaborating cross-functionally across the organization. This role will also be responsible for analysis of Gallagher's general ledger data, support provisioning, and will maintain data within our fixed asset system. The ideal candidate will excel in a team-based environment and will have growth-potential, as the sky is the limit here at Gallagher!

    In this role, you will:

    • Assist with accurate and timely preparation of tax schedules and submission of U.S. Federal Income Tax returns

    • Perform strategic quarterly and year-end analysis for the consolidated income tax provision

    • Maintain fixed asset depreciation database for tangible and intangible assets

    • Provide support on tax audits and notices from the IRS

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant business and internal controls

    • Collaborate with colleagues across the tax and accounting functions

    To succeed, you will need:

    • Bachelor's Degree

    • 1-3 years related experience (accounting/tax)

    • Knowledge of Corptax and /or OneSource Tax Provision and BNA fixed asset software preferred

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to tackle problems independently with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Positive attitude and a willingness to assist with other projects as needed, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
