  • Our industry leading client is looking to add an Accountant to their team! This accountant will be supporting the transportation corporate accounting group with the general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and closing activities.

    Overview

    • Research and correct account discrepancies

    • Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts

    • Analyze Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for variances

    • Assist with preparation of Financial Statements

    • Assist in month, quarter, and year end closing activities

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • Experience within Logistics/Distribution is a plus

    • ERP experience in Lawson

    • Experience in reconciling and balancing the general ledger

    • Experience posting monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals to the general ledger

    • Handling revenue, & expense accruals and amortizations of prepaid expenses

    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel creating pivot tables & VLOOKUPs, and ability to perform SUMIF formulas
