Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a PART-TIME Accountant in the Healthcare/NHS industry. The role is based in the Galesburg, Michigan, territory. As a PART-TIME Accountant, you will be responsible for daily bookkeeping activities, general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Perform general ledger accounting tasks to maintain accurate financial records

• Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Analyze and maintain various accounts to track financial activities

• Experience with QuickBooks Online is necessary for efficient financial management

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office for smooth operations

• Apply knowledge of debits and credits in accounting tasks

• Exhibit a strong understanding of general ledger functions for effective accounting practices

• Prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively for efficient task completion

• Utilize skills in 'Accounting Software Systems', 'Accounting Functions', 'Accounts Payable (AP)', 'Accounts Receivable (AR)', 'Auditing', 'Budget Processes', 'Quickbooks Online', 'Ensure Accuracy', 'Keep Accurate Records', 'Alternative Education', 'Early childhood education' to perform job tasks effectively.

Requirements

• Applicant should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accountant role, preferably within the Healthcare/NHS industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Demonstrable experience in managing Accounting Functions is required

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes is necessary

• Proficiency in Auditing and Budget Processes is expected

• Experience with Quickbooks Online is a plus

• Ability to Ensure Accuracy and Keep Accurate Records is required

• Exposure to Alternative Education and Early childhood education will be an advantage

• The role requires a professional qualification in Accounting or a related field.

• The candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities are essential.

• The candidate must exhibit high ethical standards and comply with all the regulations and guidelines of the Healthcare/NHS industry.

• The candidate should be able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrating high level of accuracy.
