Your Role at KIK

The Accountant, reports to the Accounting Manager aligned to our Pool Division. You will process non-PO invoices and resolve PO invoices. Provide a review of data sources for accuracy and completeness, preparation of month-end close journal entries, balance sheet account responsibility, and support of audit and tax deliverables as requested. You will collaborate with various departments, such as Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Leadership, to ensure complete and accurate results.

What You'll Be Doing

• Process non-PO invoices and resolve PO invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Work with Corporate AP Team to collect outstanding vendor credits, respond appropriately to vendor inquires, and provide support to other departments who interact with the accounts payable function.

• Assist with analyzes and calculate areas of cost savings.

• Responsible for clearing RNV report, getting approval from Accounting Manager.

• Assist with full physical, cycle counts, and inventory reporting.

• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual close of general ledger and reconciliations.

• Assist with the preparation of capital requests including appropriate economic analysis when required and assure backup documentation is adequate.

• Review financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.

• Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual regulatory tax filings for the Pool Division.

• Assist in annual external and internal control audits including completion of requested schedules.

• Assist in the documentation of policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility.

• Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent experience

• Minimum 2 years AP experience, with a strong knowledge of accounts payable principles and systems and general ledger accounting.

• Proficient in GAAP preferred.

• Intermediate to advanced in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, sum/if) preferred.

• Experience with SAP a plus and/or major ERPs.

• Experience working with manufacturing plants a plus.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to contribute to our team's success.

• Analytical, resourceful, root cause-driven toward resolution, and problem-solving abilities.

• High attention to detail with an ability to create and document effective and efficient processes.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
