As an Accountant within PNC's Midland/Real Estate Finance organization, you will be based in Overland Park, Kansas.

    This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager's discretion.

    Seeking an accounting professional with the ability to compare and manipulate data for research and analytics with high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Intermediate Excel skills is required. A successful candidate for this position will be deadline driven, learns quickly and can retain and recall information.

    Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to

    • Processes accounts payable invoices in a timely manner by utilizing strong organizational skills and adhering to workflow policies.

    • Effectively communicates with line of business partners.

    • Performs journal entries and daily cash reconciliations with accuracy and attention to detail, adhering to provided deadlines.

    • Able and willing to learn about Real Estate Finance business in order to better support the Midland Loan Servicing and Agency Finance lines of business.

    Preferred Skills and Abilities

    Ability to navigate Excel including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.

    Effective communication.

    Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions to support business objectives.

    Job Description

    • Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management.

    • Maintains financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards .

    • Creates reports on financial performance for internal and external use .

    • Performs balance sheet and P&L reconciliations .

    • Creates and utilizes automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of financial results .
