The J. Spencer and Patricia Standish Library of Siena College is seeking an adjunct librarian to fulfill up to 20 hours per week, primarily weekends, during the fall and spring semesters. Primary responsibilities include in-person and online reference services, while additional duties may include developing reference and instructional materials, weeding and collection development, and general library support.

Salary: $ 38.31/hour*

Job Requirements:

• Must possess an ALA-accredited master's degree. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Working knowledge of reference practices and skillsets

• Experience searching library databases and familiarity with traditional reference sources

• Must have a thorough understanding of library technologies and services

• Reference experience (may include internship work) preferred

A background screening will be required.
