We are seeking an Architect to join our motivated and exciting Architecture practice in our New York City office. We are looking for candidates with experience on complex, multidisciplinary design build transportation projects.

Responsibilities of this specific role will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Coordinate the production of drawings and reports.

• Coordinate work with multi-disciplinary design teams.

• Coordinate communication and flow of information between design team members.

• Attend meetings and communicate with clients to establish their needs.

• Produce project related correspondence and reports.

• Support Arup's Architecture business to develop ongoing opportunities in the design and delivery of projects of significant scale and complexity.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture required.

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience.

• Experience with construction contract document preparation and management in a design & build environment.

• Previous experience on major rail projects.

• Familiarity with US Construction market and industry is highly desirable.

Other:

• Proficiency in Revit, demonstrating extensive experience in utilizing the software.

• Demonstrate ability to organize and synthesize complex information.

• Demonstrate ability to facilitate team dynamics.

• High level of self-motivation and ability to motivate others.

• Ability to take initiative and make decisions.

• Foster creativity and innovation working with a multi-disciplinary team to meet project goals and deliver high quality technical excellence.

• Excellent planning and organization skills.

• Proactive and willing to take on new challenges.

New York City Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in New York City is $78,800 to $96,500 per year. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of New York City will differ.
