  • Aston Carter is working with a great client in the Mantua, OH area who is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team!

    Description

    • Managing Administrative Team day to day and task delegation, follow up, etc.

    • Designing, implementing, and identifying potential innovation for work flow, procedures, and related technology for all departments.

    • Strategically planning budgets and financial plans for organization.

    • Identifying and exploring new opportunities to develop organizational value or reduce expenses.

    • Managing company bank accounts on a daily and monthly basis, including reviewing, fund transferring, and error disputing.

    • Overseeing and finalizing month, quarter and year-end close and reconciliation of accounts.

    • Creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements or other various reports as requested by Office Manager, General Manager, Partners, or company accountants.

    • Managing monthly, quarterly, & annual tax filings, pre-payments, payments, returns, etc. for Sales Tax and Income Tax.

    • Management of Hedgehog goal tracking and weekly team reporting.

    • Monthly calculation, reporting, and liability set up for inside and third party project commissions.

    • Monthly accrual set up.

    • Managing relationship and coordination of projects with outside accounting firm.

    • Placing Orders for product with BASWA AG, Black Lab, etc. as requested by Operations Manager.

    • Monitoring daily FX CHF rates.

    • Monitoring and scheduling of payments to BASWA AG for all invoices. Buying forwards for payments as needed.

    • Managing inventory within accounting system, ensuring accurate system quantities to those on hand.

    • Managing BASWA acoustic pricing and coordinate with the Sales Director and Managing Member to ensure pricing accuracy.

    • Managing new product / revised product part number process.

    • Generating Customer Invoices timely and accurately. Working with Sales department to ensure all information (including quantities, inventory, discounts, sales tax, etc.) is accurate.

    • Overseeing credit applications and accounts of credit, working with Partners to establish appropriate credit limits.

    • Managing of entry and timely payment of Accounts Payable. Check runs every Wednesday; to be reviewed with Office Manager or Managing Partner.

    • Monitoring and overseeing Accounts Receivable. Applying incoming payments daily. Managing collections on past due accounts. Overseeing releasing or placing of liens.

    Experience in a previous Building Materials company/or a manufacturing company preferred
