    Robert Half is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Controller to join one of our rapidly growing Clients in North Little Rock. The Assistant Controller will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our client, working closely with the CFO and finance team to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with financial regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the success of a dynamic and expanding organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, adhering to GAAP standards.

    Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

    Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to maintain compliance and support business objectives.

    Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support strategic decision-making.

    Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.

    Coordinate with external auditors during audits and reviews to ensure timely completion and compliance.

    Mentor and supervise junior finance team members, providing guidance and support as needed.

    Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations, assessing their impact on financial operations.

    Support special projects and initiatives as directed by management.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA designation preferred.

    3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.

    Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software systems (e.g., ERP, Hyperion).

    Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.

    Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA designation preferred.
