    The role you'll contribute:

    Responsible for developing, achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department's daily operations. Consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. Collaboratively works with nurse leaders in maintaining productivity, supporting initiatives and ensuring units/departments are appropriately staffed. Will assist in identifying staff development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.

    • Daily productivity, support unit/department manager with budget preparation, and expense management.

    • Support daily staffing plan matching competency with patient acuity, develop an understanding around the importance of relationships and support team dynamics by role modeling professional behavior.

    • Encourage associate participation in decision through shared governance structure.

    • Focus on patient safety, patient experience, and performance improvement in alignment with unit/department goals, support change management.

    • Support professional development to improve associate retention.

    • Focus on personal growth and development through involvement in professional associations and/or advancing education Know and understand your role within the leadership team of the unit/department.

    Qualifications

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

    Required

    • Bachelor's degree

    • BSN required. Current incumbents must achieve by July 1, 2024.

    • Nursing Specialty Certification

    • 2 years clinical RN experience.

    • RN License to practice in CO or KS as applicable.

    • Current BLS through American Heart Association.

    • Competencies to align with annual competency grid.

    • Must achieve and maintain professional certification within two years of becoming ANM.

    Preferred

    • 1 year of clinical leadership.
