    What you will do-

    The Associate Sourcing Manager will support the implementation of new product introduction projects related to cost reduction initiatives, new product development, sourcing optimization and rationalization, quality improvement, risk assessment, and contract negotiation. You will provide input and analysis into the Medical Division Acute Care Business Unit's new product development sourcing activities. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Design Engineers, Advanced Operations, Strategic Sourcing, Global Commodity Managers and Quality in aligning the supply chain to obtain the best quality, service, and value for products and services through effective supplier management, bidding, and negotiations.

    Additional responsibilities:

    • Lead implementation of strategies and goals for commodities in support of overall divisional business objectives on new production introduction projects

    • Support new product development project milestones throughout the development phases from research to execution via supplier management, quoting, part/tooling procurement, and contract creation

    • Support the implementation of processes and tools to build a best-in-class new product introduction sourcing organization

    • Lead sourcing analysis for the selection process and perform cost analyses to support make versus buy analyses

    • Develop strong partnership relationships with key suppliers as well as other internal disciplines and key collaborators

    • Support identification of supply base risk and implementation of mitigation plans

    • Support related cost controls and business strategy plans

    • Support ramp-up and inventory management at suppliers for the launch of new products into production

    What you need-

    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Management, Business, Finance, Engineering or related field -required

    • 6 years in Supply Management or related field with a focus on strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier development -required

    • Must be able to analyze and resolve complex material quality/supplier issues of a complex scope using independent judgment -required

    • Knowledge and experience with the development and administration of contracts 'preferred'

    • Knowledge of quoting, quote analysis, and negotiations 'preferred'

    • Assessing and mitigating risk in the supply base 'preferred'

    • Experience in a highly regulated industry such as aerospace, automobile medical 'preferred'
