    Join Trane as a Custom Air Handler Associate Product Manager ! As an Associate Product Manager, you will be an integral partner to our product manager in driving product strategies to meet or exceed Trane Technologies' revenue growth targets and to maintain or grow market share while expanding overall profit margin.

    This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule and will be based out of our Fort Smith, AR location.

    What you will do:

    • Impact the long-term portfolio vision and strategies.

    • Be involved in new and enhanced product offerings through the Generating, Developing, Launching New Offerings (GDLO) process.

    • Assist in the setting and execution of portfolio pricing strategies.

    • Be the product management voice in Trane Select Assist (online product configurator) enhancement planning and execution.

    • Gain hands-on product management knowledge and experience through daily product lifecycle management activities.

    • Serve as trusted advisor and partner with our Sales, Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are accomplished.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide product management support for Custom air handling products within the Trane Airside portfolio. Support the portfolio critical initiatives/priorities and their impact on overall portfolio growth and financial targets.

    • Gather and analyze pertinent data as input to product strategies including market/competitive intelligence, ASHRAE guidelines/standards, industry trends, etc.

    • Actively participate in product strategy discussions including product differentiation, portfolio strategy, and field promotions.

    • Partner with portfolio leader and product manager to design and implement pricing strategies that support revenue and margin targets.

    • Gather the voice of the customer and serve as an extended member of the product growth team (PGT) to guide solution approaches with new product introduction (NPI) and product enhancement projects. This work includes setting project timelines, compiling the voice of customer, and planning/executing marketing and commercialization plans.

    • Provide input and guidance to product engineering teams during development and launch of new products, productivity projects, and line extensions.

    • Assist in the development and maintenance of portfolio roadmap.

    • Lead ongoing sales enablement, marketing, and communication efforts for enhanced awareness and market positioning with our field sales teams.

    • Serve as product management lead in product selection program (Trane Select Assist) enhancement project prioritization and implementation. Support testing efforts as needed.

    • Assist with monthly Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) demand planning and related supply chain constraint activities.

    • Provide product and selection assistance by serving as key point of contact for sales enablement updates, providing troubleshooting support on more in-depth issues.

    What we expect of you:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university. MBA preferred.

    • Minimum of 5 years combined working experience in areas of product management, marketing, sales, operations, and/or related fields. Experience working in a sales office/channel environment or pre-sales product support preferred.

    Ideally, you would also be familiar with one or more of the following:

    • Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning/refrigeration (HVAC/R) fundamentals

    • Availability to travel as needed.

    • Possess executive presence and solid political acumen to effectively interact with field organization (customers, sales, assistants, account managers)

    • Strong written and oral communication skills across a diverse stakeholder group

    • Proven ability to build effective relationships across a broad stakeholder group in a matrixed organization.

    • Strong analytical skills with ability to weave diverse quantitative and qualitative data sources into a compelling story.

    • Effective and clear decision-maker under pressure situations.

    • Experience with Trane Select Assist (TSA), Salesforce and/or Zendesk.

    • Knowledge or experience with Lean or continuous improvement methodology.

    Base Pay Range: $88,000 - $130,000/year
