What you will do

• Transform business needs into robust technical solutions using modern data engineering techniques

• Design and implement data architectures to facilitate advanced analytics

• Develop data-driven solutions to empower decision-making

• Ensure data accessibility and governance for routine analysis and strategic business moves

• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain a reliable data supply chain

• Create trusted relationships and bring thought leadership to our clients

• Own the responsibility for technical delivery to our clients

Skills and experiences

• Proven ability to create analytics solutions that meet a wide variety of client value needs using the Azure Data Platform services

• Deep understanding of end-to-end data operation solutions and processes

• Proficiency in one of the following: T-SQL, Python, PySpark and familiarity with U-SQL

• Experience owning client relationships, delivery of complex solutions and ability to support pre-sales solutioning

• Strong understanding of data modelling fundamentals in structured and semi-structured environments

• Strong understanding of Azure Data Platform services infrastructure requirements

• Proficient with Git/ADO for version control and collaboration

About you

Characteristics that demonstrate success for this role

• Have a minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience across the advanced analytics space, preferably in a consulting environment

• Are excited to become a leader within a dynamic, innovative data practice and you are emotionally mature and humble in your leadership, recognizing the unique skillset of each team member

• Have proven experience running multi-million-dollar projects and you enjoy interacting with clients and building strong relationships

• Are as a steadfast mediator between the business and the team and you possess masterful negotiation and relationship-building skills

• Can communicate priorities and expectations clearly and concisely, and are open to team opinions, while also confident in making decisions

• You likely possess a degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Economics/Econometrics, Engineering or another relevant field in the industry. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also suffice

• Experience in AI concepts and implementation is advantageous

Compensation for roles at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Avanade provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington as set forth below.

Colorado: $174,250-$205,000

Washington: $194,650-$229,000
