    We are looking for an experienced, HRS Benefits Delivery Retirement Manager to lead the operations for the Honeywell Retirement plans, Pension and 401k, across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada, based on policies and plan rules to ensure compliance. In this role, you are leading an operational administration support team to drive standard work, deliver standardized and self-service HR solutions, and drive digital transformation initiatives forward. Will define and implement service strategies to optimize the customer experience while delivering on operational efficiency, lead compliance initiatives, implementation of new design and legislative changes, the communications strategy of the plans as well as managing vendor relationships and accountability to service level agreements. Will have responsibility to lead a "right and fast" process experience for our current and past employees ensuring the team delivers on the resolution of inquiries, escalations, errors, and requests from participants, such as hourly manufacturing workers, salaried workers, retired participants, and top Executive Officers. Leads a range of projects that have high visibility and vary in scope and complexity for ongoing work operations, compliance, audits, and vendor management improvements. This role needs to be able to flex between strategic vision, benefit compliance, and operational management. Frequent interactions with senior leaders, Finance, HR Business Partners, and members of the HR Centers of Excellence are expected. You will have a significant impact on optimizing HR processes, enhancing employee experience, and driving HR's digital transformation journey, contributing to the success and effectiveness of Honeywell's overall operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Build and retain a strong, diverse, and high performing team by hiring, developing, engaging, motivating, and fostering an inclusive culture for seven skilled professionals.

    • Ensure that the end-to-end operational performance meets or exceeds business objectives, and customer issues are effectively resolved.

    • Partner and provide guidance and/or support to HRS functions, Payroll, Finance, C&B COE, and Legal on benefit administrative processes, policy changes and impact to the business.

    • Manage suppliers to ensure quality administration of plans and the customer experience, invoices and payments, audit completion, change orders, execution of reporting and filings with vendors. Lead quarterly service reviews.

    • Oversee all administration contracts with providers and ensure timely negotiations and procurement process, leads RFP and supplier selection to continuously manage cost and service improvements.

    • Lead the deferred compensation plans/non-qualified 409A processes for the executive population, providing guidance on plan details, timing, enrollment process, annual payment process, etc.

    • Stay up to date with regulatory changes in the industry and help us transition into the future as seamlessly as possible. Apply legislation and regulations, including but not limited to IRS, DOL, and ERISA, when preparing, analyzing, and interpreting plan documents, summaries of plan provisions, and related plan materials.

    • Oversees financial audits and preparations of annual regulatory filings ensuring timely and compliant submissions with no delays and no penalties. Work with internal and external partners on compliance and other related matters.

    • Identify operational errors and areas of weakness in plan operations, support audit reports and relevant supporting documentation to present findings and improvements to leadership. Lead the development of corrective action strategies.

    • Proactively complete trend analysis, identify problems and complete root cause analysis, determine solutions, make recommendations, and execute on process improvements to improve productivity, service delivery and the customer experience.

    • Provide leadership for project implementation to all required benefit change initiatives, strategic initiatives, legal changes, vendor implementations/transitions and annual processes to drive successful project outcomes and facilitate seamless business operations.

    • Continuously monitor the industry, partner with the C&B COE, Legal and other functions while anticipating impacts to benefits delivery and drives appropriate recommendations and process changes.

    • Partner with C&B COE to determine the most optimal ways to integrate benefits programs of acquired companies to meet M&A and divestiture requirements and timelines.

    • Lead year-end and mid-year non-discrimination testing as required by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to ensure compliance.

    • Collaborate with vendors on communications and educational training, including onsite meetings and communication development, as needed.

    YOU MUST HAVE:

    • Deep understanding and experience with ERISA, IRS, Retirement and DOL rules and regulations.

    • In-depth knowledge of IRS/Department of Labor regulatory requirements and retirement plan knowledge.

    • 5+ years direct experience and proficient knowledge with complex aspects of defined benefit retirement plan administration, Savings, fund benefits, compliance testing and plan audit support (completed retirement, termination, death calculations and experience with multi-employer pension plans).

    • 5+ years strong leadership experience with the ability to influence, and able to present complex concepts in a clear and simple manner.

    • 5+ years of project management experience, including excellent planning, time management, decision making and organizational skills. Exposure to difficult or complex projects while managing multiple priorities.

    • 5+ vendor management experience.

    • Non-qualified 409A experience a plus.

    • Financial acumen to manage multimillion budgets - analytical ability with exposure to accounting, finance, budget preparation, or benefit reporting.

    • Strong executive presence and ability to artfully convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.

    • Strong mathematical, analytical, statistical, and reporting skills to review, interpret and evaluate financial data and legal documents.

    • Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, vlook-ups); PeopleSoft, SalesForce, and Case Management a plus.

    • Strong record of accomplishments in process optimization, customer service improvements and design.

    • Ability to understand how to analyze organizational risk with applicable US, state, and municipal laws and policies.

    • High attention to detail and a process improvement mindset.

    • Strong written and documentation skills, ability to communicate complex issues in a concise manner.

    • Oracle HCM experience a plus.

    • Case management experience with SalesForce or ServiceNow a plus.
