    Minimum Qualifications:

    Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

    Instructor:

    • Master's degree in statistics, biostatistics, or related field.

    • Five years of SAS, R, or other statistical programming experience.

    • Five years of experience in research/evaluation, including experience with various research methods, data collection, data management, and statistical analysis.

    Senior Instructor:

    • PhD or equivalent degree in statistics, biostatistics, or related field or Master's degree in statistics, biostatistics, or related field with 10 years experience in research/evaluation, including experience with various research/statistical methods, data collection, data management and statistical analysis.

    • Minimum five years of SAS, R, or other statistical programming experience.

    • Experience developing and contributing to power and sample size calculations and data analysis the methods sections of manuscripts and/or proposals.

    • Two years of research experience leading statistical analysis on funded research studies in relevant areas.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Instructor:

    • Five+ years of experience developing and contributing to the methods sections of proposals and manuscripts.

    • Five+ years of research experience in healthcare with knowledge and experience with health services research and/or T3-T4 analyses.

    • Five+ years of experience analyzing electronic health record data, health care claims data, patient reported outcome data, and/or health related survey data.

    Senior Instructor:

    • Minimum 10 years of research experience in health outcomes research.

    • Experience developing and submitting manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals and other publications.

    • Experience mentoring statistical analysts.

    • Experience in `big data' analysis with primary areas of interest including electronic health record data, pragmatic trial design including cluster-randomized trials, and/or advanced techniques to approach causal inference and confounding in observational studies.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong knowledge of basic and advanced statistical principles and analytic methods relevant in health services research

    • Strong knowledge in applying inferential statistics, research design principles, data quality assurance approaches, and/or survey research designs.

    • Knowledge of statistical computing and/or Bayesian inference.

    • Strong programming skills in one or more common statistical software packages (such as SAS, R, Python, Stata, MATLAB and/or SPSS).

    • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills, and ability to maintain diplomacy with all collaborating partners.

    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills; ability to independently analyze and resolve complex problems.

    • Versatility and the ability to operate effectively and efficiently according to the needs and demands of concurrent projects and deadlines.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
