Bookkeeper

Description An excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper is available through Robert Half. If you have experience with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then this may be the right Bookkeeper role for you. What you get to do every single day

• Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

• Monitor accounts by balancing entries

• Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

• Look after archived records by categorizing documents

• Conduct and manage the general ledger

• Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

• Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits Requirements - Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred

• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience

• Practical knowledge of QuickBooks

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• General familiarity with month end closings

• Foundational knowledge in bank reconciliations

• Account reconciliation experience

• Bookkeeping experience highly desired

• Adeptness in data entry

• BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

• Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired
