Breeder Operator

Full Time Hourly

• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States

• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily farm activities & chores associated with caring for breeder turkeys, hatching eggs, farm equipment as outlined and described in department operating manuals

• Help employees with safety, productivity, and cost control by providing personal involvement in farm management and operating decisions and problem solving

• Ability to work some holidays

Minimum Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to and from assigned farm

• Able to work every other weekend and holidays

• 9th grade math level, reading and writing skills

• PHYSICAL: Able to lift up to 70 pounds from floor to waist occasionally

• Able to wear eye and respiratory protection equipment continually

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with good record

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Two years farm experience
