    What you can look forward to as a Category Manager:

    • Manage the release of new products and develop new projects through to production, working closely with customers, support teams and the sales organization

    • Develop/present business cases for assigned product category with project management and identify new opportunities to grow sales and margins using market/product intelligence to drive key business decisions

    • Ensure key customer requirements are understood, prioritized, and translated into product specifications or service needs

    • Ensure service readiness through product/marketing support for product and key customer teams

    • Maintain effective contacts with, and coordinate actions with project management, marketing communications, engineering, operations, quality assurance, product performance, sales functions.

    • Be the market expert on assigned products, developing targeted price points, maintaining profitable margins, and developing USP's.

    • Drive Reman mindset for long term service readiness.

    • Maintain master data and deployment to customer center for assigned category

    • Attend and represent ZF at major aftermarket shows, promotional events, and customer interactions.

    Your Profile as a Category Manager:

    • Bachelors degree and 6-8+ years of experience; extensive experience will be considered in lieu of degree

    • Automotive aftermarket experience required

    • Understanding of category management, marketing and branding, customer requirements and trends

    • Comfortable in presenting to large, diverse groups of people. Excellent communication and presentation skills

    • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

    • Ability to identify gaps in existing marketing and materials and build up new USPs

    • Able to drive in a complex organization with strategic thinking abilities

    • SAP experience

    • Team mentality, supporting team members with your unique industry/product management knowledge
