Clinic RN Lead

Overview

CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson part of CommonSpirit Heath a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care assisted and residential living communities community health services organizations home health agencies and numerous outpatient facilities.

The RN - Clinic Lead provides routine patient care under the supervision of a licensed clinician. Provides nursing services to patients in a community health setting. Assists in providing education to the patients/family as needed. Responsible for the flow of patients through the medical service areas, and exercises frequent independent judgment. Performs with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

1. Monitor the patient flow throughout the clinic areas.

2. Assist Practice Manager or Healthcare Provider with clinical staffing issue within department and/or related to other departments.

3. Delegate tasks to clinical staff and create the clinical staff schedules as requested.

4. Facilitate training and orientation to the clinical staff members.

5. Assess and triage patients for appropriate department within the clinic

6. Accurately obtain health history and rectifies medications.

7. Serve as Interpreter between the patient and provider as requested.

8. Administer medications by oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal routes, IV.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Required Licensure and Certifications

1. State Registered Nurse (RN:NE)

2. AHA Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training

1. 2 years related field experience required.

2. 2 years supervisory-level experience required

Pay Range

$29.16 - $42.28 /hour
