  • Description

    The Compensation Analyst develops, implements, and administers job descriptions/analysis and compensation to align with the organization's business strategy to attract and retain high performing employees. Prepares and processes incentive programs. Assures through research, audits, reports that the company programs are consistently administered in compliance with polices and government regulations. Establishes process and policies to comply with legal requirements.

    Duties include but are not limited to

    • Lead the development, initiation, and changes of job descriptions/analysis and organization structure in conjunction with the appropriate management.

    • Proactively conduct research and select competitive market salary data to establish pay.

    • Participate in market salary surveys.

    • Manage the development and ongoing evaluation of the company's compensation structure and philosophy to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.

    • Assign appropriate pay grades to initial and revised positions.; determine compensation for new hires.

    • Ensure external competitiveness and best practices for company programs as well as state and federal mandated programs to ensure compliance.

    • Lead recommendations, development, implementation, and oversight of variable pay/incentive programs and policies within the company.

    • Prepare pay calculations and provide appropriate documentation to allow payroll to provide the payment of incentive programs.

    • Serve as the direct point of contact for all payroll reporting and integration through current HRIS (ADP) and general system reporting.

    • Create compensation education and training materials and facilitate training with managers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    NEED

    • Bachelors Degree (or 7 years of applicable experience)

    • Excel experience (vlookups, pivot tables)

    • Payroll system (ADP ideal, but open to others)

    • 3 years Compensation Experience

    • Experience working with for a company with 100+ employees

    • Analytical mind

    Nice to have

    • Manufacturing or Construction/Expereince working with multi-shift (shift differentials)

    • Sales compensation experience
