  • Our client, is seeking a Contract Specialist to join their team. As a Contract Specialist, you will be part of the department and supporting the team.

    Job Title: Contract Specialist

    Location: St. Louis, MO

    What's the Job?

    • Develop expertise in the NPPC procurement process and support project teams in the creation of RFP packages, analysis of RFPs, and execution of agreements.

    • Manage the collection of forecasted/capital contract strategies with a 0 +3-year outlook, summarizing and communicating procurement needs to North American Procurement and At Market Procurement.

    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather information on project execution strategies and drive requirements with At Market and Global Procurement.

    • Collaborate with At Market Procurement on Vendor Scorecard initiatives and maintain feedback loops between At Market Procurement and project teams.

    • Identify and communicate necessary activities and resources needed to achieve implementation of chosen sourcing strategies.

    • Assist in other duties as assigned, including process improvement/development initiatives.

    • Proven ability to analyze and present findings clearly and cohesively.

    • Strong communication skills to liaise between internal customers and the global procurement team.

    • Ability to navigate through ambiguous situations and manage relationships effectively.

    • Capable of working collaboratively and supporting multiple sourcing initiatives.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.

    • Previous experience in the creation of contracts or legal agreements is required.

    • Project Management experience is a plus.

    • Understanding of factory operations and construction contracting is a plus.

    • Experience with SAP & DocuSign is a plus.

    What's Needed?

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

    • Degree in Business, Supply Chain/Procurement, or related field.

    • Relevant experience in contract creation or legal agreements.

    • Familiarity with project management principles is beneficial.
