    Description:

    Position Purpose

    Responsible for transporting miscellaneous requisitions, test results, patient medical records, medications, and x-rays for all campuses.

    What You Will Do

    • Demonstrates proper use of cell phone.

    • Demonstrates proper use and care of hospital van.

    • Transport/Delivery of documents, supplies and equipment.

    • Documents supply carts usage on inventory worksheets or handhelds.

    • Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Mercy Medical Center -Clinton through performing behaviors consistent with Trinity Health Values.

    • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations, the Trinity Health Organizational Integrity Program, including the Standard of Conduct, Code of Ethics, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behaviors.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Valid Driver's License with no prior history of DWI/DUI convictions, or motor vehicle accidents within the past three years that were determined to be the fault of the driver.

    • Basic reading, writing and mathematics normally acquired through a high school level of education are required.

    • Must have excellent oral communication skills.

    • Excellent customer service skills necessary to develop and maintain appropriate professional relationships with various levels of staff.

    • Must have manual dexterity and be able to distinguish between colors.

    • Must be able to read follow instructions.

    • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

    • Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, I integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
