    GENERAL FUNCTION

    The Customer Service Representative for Classic Optical Laboratories reports to the Customer Service Manager. This individual will provide exceptional customer service to customers, both internal and external.

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Acting as lead person for designated health plans, contracts and customers

    • Answering phone calls regarding order status

    • Communicating claim denials to providers via mail, email or fax

    • Monitoring delayed orders and communicating updates to providers

    • Reviewing prior authorization requests

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School diploma or equivalent

    • Prior customer service experience

    • Strong communication skills

    • Microsoft Office proficiency

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 1-2 years' previous related experience and/or training experience preferred
