  • This is an office based, full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Easton Sales Manager. The CSR's primary function is supporting the sales function for existing and prospective customers via telephone to sell Distribution's full range of products, including engineered lumber, plywood, OSB, distributed products and dimension lumber.

    Key Functions:

    The Customer Service Representative has a key role in our organization. We are looking for someone we can coach, who is sales oriented and looking to grow within our sales organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our fast-paced sales and purchasing associates in customer service, order entry, product replenishment activities, etc. This person will also assist customers and vendors with telephone sales or service inquiries, provide sales and marketing communication with other associates, assist with order-entry, execute program sales, and manage various steps for upcoming orders. Additional responsibilities include processing returns, claims, executing transfer sales, and maintaining the pricing database. Excellent PC skills are required to develop and generate sales and inventory reports, while supporting the development of sales presentations and organizing customer events and training.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Building comprehensive knowledge of our customers and the products handled, along with inventory management

    • Building tactical knowledge of order administration, which includes order entry, reporting, and the delivery, claim and return processes (vendor and customer)

    • Managing data and systems for the team, which involves working with spreadsheets (excel); running BI reports; putting price sheets together, and providing SAP information to customers

    • Partnering closely with key groups, which includes the sales team and purchasing

    • Using good problem-solving skills and professional phone skills to be proactive in solving customer issues and conflict

    • While performing all of these functions, the successful candidate will focus on building product knowledge to learn all aspects of the business.

We manufacture and sell an innovative collection of proven structural framing materials to the residential, multi-family and light commercial markets, and provide seamless building solutions, from design to installation to support. This team moves fast, works smart and never stops pushing to be and stay number one in the industry.

    • 1 to 3 years of work experience OR related degree ( high school diploma or equivalent required )

    • The successful candidate must work well with others and effectively contribute to an unbeatable high performing team.

    • This person will have a high level of initiative, a passion for winning, a can-do attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated track record of success

    • Excellent oral and written communication, and presentation skills.

    Compensation:This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $48,200 - $72,200 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

    Retirement:Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

    Paid Time Off or Vacation:We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
