  • Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the manufacturing industry. The role is based in TORRANCE, California. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and resolving queries.

    Responsibilities

    • Communicate effectively with customers in person, via phone, and email, ensuring their needs are met

    • Enter and process customer orders with precision and timeliness

    • Issue return authorization numbers and handle warranty returns efficiently

    • Organize and maintain customer records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate

    • Address and resolve customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries in a timely manner

    • Stay informed on product lines, market trends, and related events to provide accurate information to customers

    • Collaborate with the Customer Service Manager to report customer complaints and errors

    • Ensure reliable and consistent attendance, demonstrating commitment to the role

    • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the efficient operation of the customer service department.

    Skills

    • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment

    • Knowledge or personal interest in tennis and/or badminton

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

    • Attention to detail and organizational skills

    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to learn. Requirements - Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role within the manufacturing industry.

    • Proficiency in handling customer queries and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

    • Experience in a call center environment is highly desirable.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.

    • Proficiency in using customer service software and databases.

    • Knowledge of tennis courts is a plus, but not a requirement.

    • Must possess a high school diploma; further education in a relevant field will be an advantage.

    • Ability to work in a team and build positive relationships.

    • Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.

    • Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

    • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards is a plus.

    • Computer literacy, particularly with MS Office Suite.
