  • Job Description:

    The Cyber Security Operations Lead is a key personnel role responsible for providing comprehensive cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) expertise across the ADCNOMS enterprise. This individual will serve as a principal advisor on all matters related to cybersecurity and will be instrumental in the development, implementation, and management of enterprise solutions to secure the Army's DoDIN-A.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide expert cybersecurity and IA guidance across a large, complex Army organization.

    • Advise on the integration of enterprise management and cybersecurity functions for the development of comprehensive security management tasks.

    • Collaborate with internal and external mission partners to enhance cyber situational awareness and promote information sharing.

    • Coordinate with the Compliance Team to monitor and track compliance with cybersecurity tasking and reporting requirements.

    • Identify DoD, Army, and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) requirements and assist in validating capability compliance.

    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented cybersecurity activities.

    • Evaluate new products with vendors and resolve equipment design problems.

    • Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced cybersecurity analysts and technical staff.

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and participate in special projects as required.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a T5 investigation.

    • In-depth knowledge of DoD computer security practices, policy, and framework.

    • Experience providing cybersecurity advice in the design, testing, deployment, and operation of enterprise systems.

    • Expert knowledge of DoD and Army cybersecurity policy, directives, and guidance.

    • Advanced understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and its application within the DoD environment.

    • Experience with DoDIN-A specific requirements, including operations compliance, cyberspace tasking order analysis, and proactive sensor management.

    Preferred Competencies:

    • Familiarity with DFAR, NIST SP 800-171, and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).

    • Professional certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or Security+.

    • Experience operating and managing ITSM system tools (e.g., ServiceNow).

    • Technical expertise in DoD Ports, Protocols, and Service Management.

    Work Environment and Physical Demands:

    • Office environment with a medium noise level.

    • Day shift schedule with potential for evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.

    Specialized Staffing and Training Requirements:

    • Meet the professional requirements for senior-level personnel as defined in the PWS.

    • Hold specialized staffing certifications relevant to the role and the mission of ADCNOMS.

    Administrative Requirements:

    • Adhere to transition periods, phase-in/out procedures, and contractor key personnel management as outlined in the PWS.

    • Comply with all security, protection, antiterrorism, and safety measures as required.
