    What you will bring

    • Using data analysis to make recommendations to analytic leaders

    • Understanding in best-in-class analytics practices

    • Knowledge of Indicators (KPI's) and scorecards

    • Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Excel, Alteryx, R, Python, etc.

    How you will contribute:

    • Data analysts are interpreters of data - gather data, manipulate it, identify useful information from it, and transform their findings into digestible insights using visualization tools.?

    • Foundational knowledge in math and statistical skills, strong business acumen, Intermediate computer science/coding skills.?

    • Ability to effectively tell stories and create actionable insights.?

    • Experience tuning SQL statements, Stored Procedures, Power Query, and DAX.?

    • Intermediate experience building data models (ie star schema) that align with business requirements.?

    • Background in Process and Workflow (Alteryx). design, information modeling, as well understanding of how applications/systems are integrated with one another is ideal.?

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Execute the business analytics agenda in conjunction with analytics team leaders.?

    • Understand how the business interacts with data to curate and deliver data and visualization solutions that will enhance business objectives.?

    • Partner with System Analyst/Data Engineer on data needs.?

    • Solicit, define, and analyze essential business requirements and transform those business needs into user stories through visualization within a given business area.??

    • Supports analytical activities and delivers analysis outputs, in accordance with business needs/conforming to agreed standards.?

    • Leverage data analytical tools to develop data solutions that add business value. Maintain existing analytical tools.?

    • Use technical skills to create new analytical processes on datasets to deduce insights and solve business problems. ?

    • Performs root cause analysis.?

    • Drive data quality by validating data & metrics calculations, surfacing quality issues, documenting, and remediating data quality issues. ?

    • Identifies patterns and helps the business react to changing business conditions and promote problem-solving.??

    • Partner with MBS in maintaining and modifying the system tables/other processes for loading and maintaining data, including new initiatives.?

    • Act as Product Owner/Scrum Master on Agile projects. Communicates deadlines and monitor and summarize progress of project.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors Degree

    • 2+ Years of related work experience

    • Experience with Power BI and other leading BI tools ?

    • Foundational knowledge in math and statistical skills, strong business acumen, Intermediate computer science/coding skills. (i.e. Python)

    • Ability to effectively tell stories and create actionable insights.?

    • Experience tuning SQL statements, Stored Procedures, Power Query, and DAX.?

    • Intermediate experience building data models (ie star schema) that align with business requirements.?

    • Background in Process and Workflow (Alteryx). design, information modeling, as well understanding of how applications/systems are integrated with one another is ideal.

    • Experience managing, integrating and mantaining programs / app

    • UI/UX?

    • Experience with Technical Documentation

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.?

    This position is 100% on-site in our Chicago Plant (7300 S Kedzie Ave, Chicago IL 60629)
