Data Scientist

We are looking for a Data Scientist to help continue grow onsemi's in Analytics, Data Science and AI capabilities. This is an opportunity to impact a growing, $8B+ enterprise that recognizes the need to leverage modern data technologies and methods to help solve critical business problems. You will join a team responsible for advanced analytics and data science across all business functions in the company including Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Operations, Manufacturing and Product Lines.

You will work with other Data Scientists and Analysts through all phases of the Data Science life cycle: problem definition, exploratory analysis, model creation, validation, deployment, monitoring and performance measurement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute all aspects of the Data Science process using Python and various services available in Microsoft Azure (Azure ML, Databricks) and Snowflake:

• Query and clean datasets

• Explore datasets and make observations

• Feature engineering, model selection

• Model tuning, model validation

• Deployment using cloud services

• Monitoring performance and drift

• Analyze supply chain, finance, sales etc. datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

• Develop and implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and data-driven optimization techniques to solve supply chain problems, such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and capacity planning.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, operations, and procurement, to gather requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop analytical solutions that address business needs.

• Utilize data visualization techniques to build dashboards in Tableau and present complex supply chain insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
