Dental Assistant (RDA or CDA)

Job Description

A large healthcare system local to South Jersey is looking to expand their ambulatory clinic. The team is looking to hire a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to their oral surgery team. Daily responsibilities will include maintaining surgical instruments and lab equipment, equipment sterilization, positioning of instruments for dentist access, obtaining radiographic imaging, assist with patient support/care following IV sedation, perform x-rays/scan and utilization of an EMR for patient documentation following all standard practices and procedures. This person will also assist with oral surgery procedures, including extractions, implants, periodontal, and biopsies.

This person's weekly schedule will be between two locations in Voorhees and Sewell, scheduled in advance.

Hours: M-F 8am-4:30pm or 8:30-5pm - no weekends or holidays

Skills and Requirements

• Externship or working experience as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)

• Must be a Registered Dental Assistant in NJ with a valid NJ x-ray license or Certified Dental Assistant in NJ with a valid NJ x-ray license (all licenses/certifications must be active)

• BLS - Associates or Bachelor's degree

• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)

• Experience in an oral surgery office null
