A Design and Analysis Electrical Engineer is needed for a multinational aerospace corporation that designs, manufactures, and sells airplanes, rotorcraft, rockets, satellites, and telecommunications equipment in the Saint Louis, MO area. This role within the Precision Engagement Systems (PES) team focuses on complex electronic and electrical systems, including requirements translation, testing, supplier monitoring, and technology research to support critical missions.

responsibilities

• Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.

• Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications.

• Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.

• Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

• Solves problems related to fielded hardware and software over the product lifecycle.

• Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

Education / Experience:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years of experience in an engineering classification.

• Alternatively, a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years of experience in an engineering classification.

• Or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.

• Preferred accreditation: ABET.
