    Make an impact on patients suffering from End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD). Help improve the patient experience by educating key stakeholders at the dialysis clinics - nurses, and patient care technicians - on the role of Ellipsys in the patient journey.

    We are looking for a field-based Dialysis Training & Education Specialist to raise awareness of dialysis access therapies, including Medtronic Arteriovenous (AV) therapies. This role sits within the AV Marketing team and will collaborate closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, and Product Management. To be successful in this role you will need to develop comprehensive knowledge of the ESKD disease state, patient journey, dialysis access and therapies, and Medtronic AV therapies - and communicate that knowledge to stakeholders within the ESKD community to support our US marketing strategy.

    A Day in the Life:

    • You will provide providing training and education on assessing and cannulating Ellipsys fistulae to dialysis center staff.

    • You will deploy marketing tactics to increase awareness and knowledge across your region, including leading in-services and training presentations at dialysis clinics and providing representation at medical society or patient events.

    • You will increase market penetration for therapies that treat ESKD, including Medtronic arteriovenous therapies, by being the area expert and raising awareness on AV therapies, patient journey, and patient barriers to care in the dialysis clinics.

    • You will work with the marketing team, medical affairs team, sales district managers, territory managers, and clinical specialists to execute strategies and business plans around the patient journey in the dialysis clinics.

    • You will create strong relationships with relevant ESKD stakeholders in your area including Medtronic customers / treating physicians, referring physicians, and dialysis clinic personnel.

    • You will become a subject matter expert on ESKD, AV therapies, and the patient journey.

    • You will contribute to creating Field Marketing assets, including educational collateral and presentations for dialysis clinic personnel.

    • You will provide monthly and quarterly summaries on your activities.

    • Travel - local and national travel required up to 75% of the time.

    Must Have: Minimum Requirements

    -Bachelors Degree and at least 2 years of experience in marketing, clinical, or support role in a dialysis clinic setting

    Nice to Have:

    -Previous Medtronic experience in clinical, sales, marketing or product management, and experience in the healthcare industry, medical device or pharmaceutical preferred

    -Strong project management skills and experience coordinating and executing programs

    -Previous experience with developing therapy awareness and education programs strongly preferred

    -Previous experience and knowledge from working in venous or cardiac clinical setting
