    Summary

    Provides Quality Leadership with a high focus in Design Engineering to the Global ATS organization in support of the development and execution of Engineering Services (including Product Design, Design Assist, Manufacturing Test Development and Dfx) following effective protocols aligned to our quality management system and global strategy.

    Detailed Description

    Performed tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

    • Responsible for the design, deployment & support of CLS's Engineering Quality Management System (QMS) for ATS Engineering Services.

    • Responsible for processes such as QMS, Customer Satisfaction Surveys, Quality Excursion Reporting as it pertains to ATS Engineering Services.

    • Provide leadership to the Design Assurance team within ATS Design sites, collaborating with the DA Manager to set team expectations and output as it pertains to Risk management, Industry & Agency standards, Design Controls, Safety Testing, and Agency Approvals. Additionally leads the site DA teams to actively woth with site design teams to interpret and guide teams to implement compliant designs and documentation.

    • Manage Design/Engineering Services internal Quality audit program and manage Customer/Agency audits for as required-working with the Quality/Engineering teams within Eng. Services.

    • Conduct Partner Design Quality assessments (working with an outsource team). Monitor, Audit and support Qualification and then drive Supplier Quality organization.

    • Assesses Design/Engineering quality performance to help establish metrics, targets and improvement strategies aligned to the organization and customer goals.

    • Leads and supports the development and execution of quality improvement initiatives aligned to Total Quality at Celestica.

    • Leads and supports the development and deployment of effective and standardized quality protocols.

    • Engages and fosters constructive relationships with sites, global leaders and subject matter experts, to enable a collaborative environment for successful execution of improvements and best practice sharing.

    • Provides leadership and support for compliance readiness to various customer, regulatory standards and certifications (i.e ISO9001, TL9001, AS9100, ISO13485, ANSI/ESD, ISO13485, IEC60601, IEC62304, etc)

    Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

    • High level of experience with Quality Management Systems around product design and development, especially pertaining to regulated environments such as HealthTech and Aerospace & Defence.

    • High level of competency in Total Quality at Celestica. Excellent knowledge of quality management systems and processes, including ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.

    • General knowledge of an electronic manufacturing environment, materials, manufacturing and business processes.

    • Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills.

    • Ability to establish department goals and coordinate a wide variety of resources (with globally distributed teams) to meet quality and quantity metrics.

    • Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.

    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers at various levels in the organizations, including Executives.

    • Ability to effectively lead, manage, train and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve high production within tight time deadlines.

    • Sustained visual concentration on small areas, such as monitors, screens

    • Sustained visual concentration on numbers, legal documents

    • The job works in generally good conditions with occasional exposure (10% - 33%) to noise, odors, dust, drafts, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.

    • Periodic travel is required.

Salary Range: $131k-$205k Annually

    Location: This is a remote position, with travel as necessary. We are open to considering candidates close to any of our US locations in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Texas, Arizona, Oregon or California as well as locations near major airports such as the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and Pacific Coast.
