    Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with a Syracuse for profit client of his to find a new Director of HR. This Director of HR will manage a team of HR professionals and help bring the HR department to the next level. The employer is looking for a strategic partner to the organization. Someone that can make process improvement and be a leader in with the executive management team.

    Key Responsibilities

    Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.

    Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding.

    Provide leadership and guidance to HR staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

    Partner with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment and retention strategies.

    Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall workplace culture.

    Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation.

    Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

    Develop and oversee compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with industry standards.

    Oversee the administration of payroll, benefits, and other HR-related systems.

    Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute workforce planning strategies that support the company's long-term objectives.

    Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of concern.

    Drive initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.

    Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on HR-related matters.

    Requirements

    Current and relevant HR Management experience

    Excellent communication skills
