    ROLE DESCRIPTION

    As a Head of Sales Effectiveness for ~~~ you will lead the effort to maximize effectiveness of the ~~~ sales organization in partnership with Sales Strategy & Operations team and sales leaders throughout the organization. Your team will own the development and delivery of the sales training program, sales coaching program, and Level Up sales performance program. Additionally, you will lead change management, process optimization, messaging, and employee engagement.

    You will be a critical member of the ~~~ Sales Leadership team and will actively partner with the SVP of Sales, senior sales leaders, sales strategy & operations, and other business partners in product management, operations, human resources, and finance to set the direction of the organization as we scale and drive rapid revenue growth of the ~~~ business.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop the ~~~ sales effectiveness strategy designed to improve onboarding, sales performance, and overall organizational effectiveness.

    • Responsible for onboarding, training, and development of new and early-tenure sales reps, including training plan development, timely completion of certification process, and on-going coaching across their first few months in the role.

    • Develop and lead the Level Up program to improve performance of tenured sales associates.

    • Design the long-term performance coaching strategy to continuously optimize effectiveness and efficiency of the business.

    • Collaborate with Sales Strategy & Operations to monitor the performance of new and tenured sales associates and identify and execute strategies to improve performance.

    • Partner with teams across the broader Costar organization to effect process improvements and ensure client and sales feedback is actioned appropriately.

    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to lead the design and ongoing development of curriculum and job aids.

    • Coach and communicate with sales leaders to ensure ongoing support and promotion of the training curriculum.

    • Identify skill development trends across new and existing sales talent and assist with ongoing skills curriculum design and implementation of training, including training days and other initiatives focused on sales skill growth and revenue generation.

    • Lead efforts to drive change through effective organizational communication and employee engagement.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit university.

    • Certification or advanced degree in learning and development or equivalent experience.

    • Experience in instructional design, curriculum development and delivery.

    • 8+ years of experience in a sales/sales management role, preferably in residential real estate, software as a service (SaaS) technology or financial sales.

    • 5+ years of leadership experience, managing teams of individual contributors.

    • Understanding of the sales process and its value to a selling organization.

    • A track record of commitment to prior employers.

    • Ability to motivate, coach and manage new talent.

    • Strong leadership presence and professionalism.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet defined plans.

    • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high growth company.

    • Previous sales management experience.

    • Exposure to common sales methodologies (i.e. Solution Selling, Miller Heiman, etc.).
