    As a Distinguished level Identity Management Architect, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and efficiency of our organization's identity and access management systems. Your expertise will span various areas of identity and access management (IAM) technology, including application security, security architecture, policy enforcement, directory services, platform security, and security frameworks. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams and oversee technical IT aspects of related activities.

    Location for this position is remote within the United States. Some travel to visit the corporate office in Irvine, California is required.

    How you will make an impact:

    • Technical Leadership : Provide technical expertise and guidance on IAM security technology, serving as the final escalation point for IAM tools.

    • Integration and Interfacing : Interface IAM systems with applications using API communications and web services.

    • Security Posture : Influence security strategies by evaluating business requirements and ensuring compliance.

    • Identity Governance & Administration : Oversee the development and lifecycle management of services related to identity governance and administration.

    • Architecture and Implementation : Architect and implement IAM solutions within the environment, adhering to best practices.

    • Documentation : Create and maintain standards for documentation related to identity processes and infrastructure.

    • Define IT strategy and engineering roadmap to meet Global IT vision and business requirements in collaboration with leading vendors and industry experts. Initiate and lead infrastructure and/or systems evaluation testing/proof of concepts; Lead maintenance and upgrade activities on IT infrastructure and/or applications. Lead implementation of technology change

    • Oversee multiple projects' technical implementations to meet architectural standards and operational processes. Serve as the technical lead of key/strategic system implementations

    • Define system configuration and operational standards for key/strategic projects. Leads in implementation, testing, and validation of desired technical solution to meet project goals

    • Initiate and lead RASP initiatives (reliability, availability, scalability, and performance)

    • Author device, network and/or systems diagrams, including configuration parameters

    • Provide training, coaching and knowledge transfer to team members on more complex tasks

    What you'll need (Required):

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or technical field Plus 12 years of related experience in IT

    • Including 8 years' experience in: IT Infrastructure Systems and IDM systems and architecture And

    • 3 years of demonstrated solid performance in an architect role with cross functional teams (within IT and/or within the business) on enterprise-level or complex/ novel system implementations

    • Must be well versed in Entra/Azure AD Active Directory AND Sailpoint

    What else we look for (Preferred):

    • Professional certifications (e.g, CISSP, CISM, IAM, CISPP, TOGAF, ITIL, PKI, AD, AWS, or MCSE) strongly preferred

    • 3 years of relevant industry experience (e.g. medical device, pharmaceutical, etc.) or in highly regulated environments

    • Excellent problem-solving skills

    • Excellent understanding of troubleshooting techniques with the ability to adapt and learn modern technologies

    • Excellent organization and time management skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer focused skills

    • Experience drafting technical documentation

    • Recognized as an expert in own area within the organization while applying broad-based technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines

    • Expert knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to Engineering

    • Advanced problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

    • Expert understanding of processes and equipment used in assigned work

    • Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to influence change

    • Expert documentation and troubleshooting skills.

    • Expert knowledge of system administration or configuration.

    • Strict attention to detail

    • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

    • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

    The base pay range for this position is $152,000 to $216,000 (highly experienced).
