Division Controller

Description We are seeking a Division Controller for a position in Villa Park, Illinois. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting and finance for our organization, providing key operational input and managing relationships with various departments and teams.

Responsibilities include

• Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, consolidating data from different locations

• Preparing clear and concise reports on financial results, cost trends, and key performance indicators

• Conducting detailed financial analysis on account balances at period end

• Tracking and controlling costs, identifying saving opportunities, and proposing strategies to optimize spending

• Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting and finance function

• Managing Accounts Receivable responsibilities including daily deposits, account reconciliation, and required paperwork submittals

• Developing the annual budget, financial forecasts, and periodic reports for management

• Collaborating closely with operations and functional departments to collect and analyze KPI's

• Ensuring accounting policies and procedures are implemented

• Reviewing and maintaining inventory standards, recording variances in a timely manner

• Managing and coordinating cycle count and/or physical inventories as directed

• Evaluating current accounting processes, proposing recommendations for improvements, and implementing new processes where needed

• Handling monthly petty cash reconciliation, credit card statements, gas log statements, expense reports, and check requests as needed

• Managing all relationships with vendors, customers, and suppliers Requirements

• Must have at least 8 years of experience in a Division Controller role or similar

• Must have experience with Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with CapEx and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a plus

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Budget Processes and Compliance is essential

• Must have a solid understanding of Finance and the Accounting cycle

• Experience with Financial Reporting is needed

• Must possess strong Collaboration and Communication skills

• Leadership Skills are crucial for managing and directing teams.
