Driver Type 3

1st shift, Monday-Friday - some weekends

Starting Pay: $24.50 per hour

You will Contribute By:

• Complete vehicle pre-trip inspection report. Records required truck information and needed repairs.

• Safely drive Company vehicles to make deliveries to various customers located around the island.

• Load delivery equipment into the truck; may load products/pallets into the truck

• Deliver products to customers. Unload products to be received by the customer or check in products with the customer with the invoice; address discrepancies.

• Pick up customer payments as needed. Pick up products when returning to the facility as needed.

• Upon returning to the facility: clean the truck, submit signed invoices, and product returns.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Drive a box truck type of vehicle to transport and deliver products

• Average stops 16-28 stops per day except for 2 days 5 stops only but heavy

• Pallets can consist of all types of products

• Maneuver the truck into the loading or unloading position

• Weigh truck as needed en route and/or at vendors to document weight and conform to state/company regulations

• Electronic logging according to I.C.C. regulations

• Inspect the truck before and after trips and submit a report indicating the truck's condition

• Read the bill of lading to determine the assignment

Store: Freezer (-20F to 0F)

Warehouse: Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)

Warehouse: Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Skills

• Class C Driver's license with safe driving record minimum 1 year

• Driving experience (preferably delivery driving)

• Enjoy working with people.
