Electrical Field Technician

Description:

Searching for an Electrical self-starting Lighting Controls Field Service Technician capable of delivering superior customer service experience while performing system startup, troubleshooting and end user training for lighting control systems.

• Performs onsite lighting control system startup, troubleshooting and end user training.

• Review project documentation and specifications and control scheme including sequence of operation to ensure system installations match the plans and meet the end user's expectations.

• Work with integration technicians, building owners, building managers, and contractors to address any technical issues with lighting control integration, and function.

• Properly document and track all project information to drive to a successful completion in a timely manner.

• Work independently outside of the office 90% of the time.

• Manage RMA/Warranty process

• Coordinate product installation on site

• Additional Miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.

• Understanding of basic electrical components (relays, drivers, ballasts).

• Understand and keep up to date with Building code requirements

• Performs onsite troubleshooting by way of being a critical thinker and utilizing problem-solving skills

• Superb customer service, communication (both written and oral), and self-management skills

• Good organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.

• Ability to adapt to dynamic work schedules and flexible shifts

• Operate vehicle in a safe manner

• Awareness of chemical, health and safety issues

• Ability to work safely on a dynamic working construction site

• Two years' experience preferred

• Associates Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent
